TWO BRAND new 17-seat minibuses have arrived at Arden Academy – provided by the ‘incredibly hard-working’ Parents Teachers Friends Association (PTFA).
Arden executive prinicpal Martin Murphy welcomed the arrival of the minibuses and paid tribute to those who had raised the money for them.
He said: “We are very lucky indeed to have such an incredibly supportive PTFA.
“These new school vehicles will enable us to take even more of our students off-site for educational and extra-curricular opportunities. “They will also support the massive sporting programme enabling our students to arrive in style at numerous sporting fixtures and competitions.”
PTFA Chair Daisy Timms added: “It was a delight and privilege to be part of the huge team effort in funding these two minibuses.
“It gives us all great satisfaction seeing the fruits of our labours and all this was achieved through running our fun and fantastic events.”
