A MURDER investigation is under way after a man was found with serious injuries at a property in Acocks Green.
West Midlands Police were called to Warwick Road at about 2.55pm on Saturday (February 1).
Despite the efforts of the emergency services the man in his 60s was pronounced dead a short time later.
Two men, who were known to the victim, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
At the time of publication a 44-year-old remains in police custody while a 62-year-old has been released on police bail.
Investigations are continuing with door-to-door enquiries being carried out as police work to establish the exact circumstances.
CCTV and doorbell footage are also being retrieved and reviewed as our enquiries continue.
