YOUNG people and jobseekers are being invited to a careers fair organised by Saqib Bhatti, MP for Meriden.
It’s on January 13 at the Woodlands Campus of Solihull College in Smith’s Wood and runs from 3pm to 7pm.
Held in conjunction with the borough council and Solihull College, the careers fair is aimed at showcasing opportunities from universities, colleges and leading employers in the region.
There will also be CV workshops and career advice provided by Google Digital Garage and seminars on degree apprenticeship programmes from Aston University.
“I am thrilled that we have been able to secure some of the biggest business names across the West Midlands and leading universities including the University of Birmingham,” said Mr Bhatti.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with some fantastic businesses across the West Midlands region and I would encourage everyone to attend.
“The pandemic has created huge uncertainty especially for young people and this could be an important step towards a brighter future.”
