A SOLIHULL theatre group may have just have found the Holy Grail.

Peterbrook Players are preparing to bring the musical Spamalot, based on the hit film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to The Core Theatre from April 10 to 14.

Director, Richard Agg, picked up the best director trophy at this year’s Birmingham District Theatre Guild Awards for his work on their sold out production of Singin’ In The Rain last year at The Core and is hoping for a repeat of that success.

He said: “The show is during the second week of the Easter school holidays, so would be a perfect evening out for the family.

“It’s got jokes for the adults, silly visual humour for the kids, a cast of 40 singing and dancing their way through this hilarious riot of a show and plenty of characters from the film to keep the Python fans happy too.

“It really is a show for everyone that will have you leaving the theatre with a massive smile on your face. The script is hilarious and the cast performing it are amazing.”
