MOAZZAM Begg has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with Syria related terrorism offences.
The 45-year-old, from Hall Green, who is accused of providing training or instruction for terrorism and facilitating terrorism overseas, was given a provisional trial date in October.
Begg appeared via video link from Belmarsh Prison.
He was remanded in custody by the judge, Mr Justice Sweeney.
