MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity is proud to be supported by Solihull Moors FC throughout the 2023/24 season.

The football club signed up to support the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service last season, registering as an official ‘Brew for the Crew’ location, which offers facilities for the charity’s critical care paramedics to use for a respite breaks in between lifesaving missions.

In addition, the club has also provided the charity with a membership to its Werqwise office area, providing a remote workspace for fundraisers to use in the Solihull area.

This season, the club has also chosen to represent the charity on the pitch as part of its growing relationship with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, displaying pitch boards to drive important awareness and funds for the charity.

Bradley Rice, head of commercial at Solihull Moors FC, said: “It is a pleasure to be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, championing the work they go to on a daily basis.

“We are proud to open up our facilities to the charity’s hardworking crew, as well as use our platform to help spread the word of this lifesaving cause.”

The charity is looking forward to continuing its relationship in the new year through a ‘charity take over’ of one of the club’s fixtures, which will help generate vital funds as well as forge new corporate relationships in Solihull.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, added: “Since January 2023, our clinical team have responded to more than 840 missions in the West Midlands alone.

“That is why support from local businesses is so important to raise awareness of our cause directly in the communities we serve.

“Working with Solihull Moors has provided us with an introduction to its network, many of whom have shown great interest in finding ways to support us in funding the £13-14 million needed each year to keep our lifesaving service operational. “
