SOLIHULL is set to host its first vegan fair this weekend as part of a milestone year for a Midlands-based voluntary group.

The Midlands Vegan Campaigns is calling on all current and budding vegans to head to Solihull Methodist Church Hall on Saturday (July 8).

From 10.30am until 4pm there stalls are set to showcase an array of vegan foods and products including cake, chocolate, cosmetics and clothing at the Blossomfield Road church hall.

To celebrate the campaigns tenth anniversary the company has organised a vegan fair every month throughout the year and this month is the turn of Solihull.

Kevin White, founder of Midlands Vegan Campaigns and the organiser of the events said: “Veganism is really taking off in the UK, with new stats showing that over half a million people now follow a vegan lifestyle.

“For many, vegan events are the best starting point if you’re vegan curious, an aspiring vegan or already enjoying the benefits of the lifestyle.

“There are now dozens of vegan fairs and festivals springing up across the country, so anyone interested will find them more accessible than ever before.”
