MORE THAN £2million of cocaine was seized and two men have been charged after police stopped a van in Solihull.
West Midlands Police said it pulled over a suspicious vehicle in Homer Road on Saturday afternoon (June 24) and found 40 kilos of cocaine.
Adrian-Constantin Tirnovan, aged 22, and George-Marius Tirnovan, 27, were arrested and since been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.
They were remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (June 26).
The forces added: “It comes as we’re now running Operation Target in a tough stance against a range of serious offences – from drug dealing and burglary, to cyber-crime and fraud.
“Officers are using local intelligence, seizing goods, carrying out warrants and targeting suspects as part of the ongoing operation.”
