THE MONEY keeps on rolling in for the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull following another successful annual golf event.

Now in its sixth year the Clarke Memorial Golf Day is held in memory of Robert Clarke and his two sons Mickie and Vinnie Clarke who were all cared for by the hospice in their final days.

Organised by son and brother Gerry Clarke, this year’s event saw 40 fundraising golfers taking part in the charity day which was won by Gerry Clarke.

“It was another great day and we raised a fabulous amount of money – so thank you to everyone who has been involved in every aspect,” said Mark Clarke.

“We have raised £655 for the Marie Curie Hospice which is a fantastic achievement and for such a great charity.

“A big thank you to Tim at Widney Manor Golf Club fir his ongoing support and to our sponsor – Derek at Birmingham Auto Parts and Car Spares Spain.

“Many thanks everyone – we will se you again next year.”
