AN APPEAL has been launched after a man was injured during an alleged burglary in Solihull.
West Midlands Police said: “We understand that two men broke into the property on Warwick Road shortly before 1am on June 4. During the burglary, a man in his 80s was threatened and assaulted. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be serious.
“Several high-value items including jewellery and watches as well as cash were then taken from the address. “
