A MAN has died after an incident on the M40 near Tanworth in Arden.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 6.50pm last night (Thursday August 10) to junction 16 of the M40 Northbound.
Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance arrived at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found a man in a critical condition after having a medical episode at the wheel.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support.
“Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, the man could not be saved and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
