A MAN has died after he was hit by a car in Sheldon last night.
It happened around 7pm on the Coventry Road.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care car from The Midlands Air Ambulance attended and started immediately administering advanced life support.
Sadly – despite their best efforts – nothing could be done to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car did not need any treatment.
