Man charged with attempted murder after Solihull shooting

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a targeted shooting in Solihull.

A Solihull Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a house in Dovehouse Lane, Solihull, on the morning of Tuesday, December 18 where a 51-year-old woman had been shot in the shoulder and hand.

 

“The incident was treated as a targeted attack and following extensive enquiries, Martynas Okmanas, of Studfall Avenue in Corby, Northamptonshire, was arrested yesterday (Friday, February 22) and charged with attempted murder.




 

“The 28-year-old mechanic was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Saturday, February 23).”
