A MAN has been charged after a vehicle was driven into a car showroom in Hockley Heath.
West Midlands Police were called at around 3.45pm on December 7 after a pickup truck hit the showroom on Stratford Road.
Police said extensive damage was caused to the showroom, a nearby pub’s window was also damaged, and a number of people reported being threatened nearby.
Alexander Rogers, aged 38, is accused of dangerous driving, criminal damage to the showroom and the vehicles inside, criminal damage to the pub, possession of a bladed article and threatening people with a bladed article.
He was due to appear before city magistrates on December 9.
