A MAN has appeared before court over car theft charges in Solihull.
West Midlands Police said the 37-year-old man was arrested on January 31 by response officers after they spotted him nearby to a car theft they had been called to.
The force added that he was arrested and charged with three counts of theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped.
He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 1.
Detective Inspector Mark Heard from Solihull Police, said: “Vehicle crime remains a priority for Solihull Police and we are doing everything we can to reduce the crime in our borough.”
