A MAN has been charged after police found a taser in Chelmsley Wood.
Officers from West Midlands Police’s Guardian Taskforce were patrolling on Sunday, March 22, where a vehicle was stopped on Tamar Drive.
Following searches officers found a taser, a baseball bat, a knuckle duster and a lock knife.
Calroy Williams was arrested and has been charged with multiple offences including possession of a firearm, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of Class C drugs.
The 49-year-old was remanded in custody and is set to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today, March 24.
