Man arrested over Hall Green home machete attack on Bank Holiday Monday

A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with a machete attack in Hall Green earlier this week.

And officers are now wanting to track down a second man in connection with the incident.

Police released an appeal for information earlier this week after a family were threatened with a machete inside their Hall Green home on Monday (May 29).

The appeal was shared hundreds of times on social media, which led to the first arrest.

The 32-year-old is in police custody being questioned by officers over his involvement in the incident.

Anyone with information about the second man – pictured – is urged to contact DC Tom Lyons on [email protected].
