A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after a dog was killed in Sheldon.
The investigation was launched on February 24 after police were called about a dog being thrown from a building in Greenvale Avenue.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on March 4 after failing to stop for officers in Solihull.
West Midlands Police said he was released on police bail with strict conditions while investigations continue.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We want to say thank you to the public for coming forward with information.
“We understand the distress this has caused the local and wider community.
“Our investigations are continuing and we are still urging anyone who has not yet spoken to us, to get in touch quoting log 3759 of February 24.”
