A man has been charged after a shotgun was recovered from Chelmsley Wood.
Officers from West Midlands Police’s Solihull Priority Crime Team carried out a warrant on Pendrell Close on November 21.
Keane Carter, from Solihull, was arrested and has been charged with possession of a firearm.
The shotgun was seized, examined, and found to be live and viable.
Carter, aged 25, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on November 22, where he was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing next month.
A woman, aged 24, who was also arrested, has been bailed while enquiries continue.
