Major roadworks will be carried out on a section of Solihull’s M42 later in January as the HS2 rail project continues to gather pace.
Lane closures lastng for 24-hours will be in place along the motorway as part of reinstatement work following the installation of two new road bridges in 2020.
The upcoming lane closures will be in force from 8pm on Friday, January 15 and 5am on Monday, January 18.
Lane closure direction will alternate throughout the weekend, and the hard shoulder within the closure extents will also be closed.
They impact on a stretch which passes the NEC, Birmingham Business Park and Melbicks Garden Centre.
