KIND-HEARTED pupils have boxed up Christmas presents to give to vulnerable children around the world during the festive season.

Lyndon School in Solihull has joined forced with Teams4U Shoebox Appeal once again to bring a smile to those who would otherwise go without.

This year, pupils filled over 150 shoeboxes with Christmas gifts, with an amazing 55 shoeboxes being donated by a single family.

This year the shoeboxes will be heading to Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia and Romania. Teams4U works closely with in-country partners like the Red Cross to help them find children that are most in need.

Ranjit Samrai, associate assistant principal, said: “Learners have always supported us fully with our Christmas Shoebox Appeal. It is great to see young people supporting others less fortunate than themselves in their time of need.”

Teams4U is a global charity dedicated to empowering communities and transforming lives through education, health, and humanitarian aid.
