SOLIHULL Mayor Mike Robinson dusted down his trick nuts and knee pads to launch thew fabulous new BMX pump track at Olton Jubilee Park.

BMX riders of all ages were present at the opening event, enjoying riding their bicycles around the looping trail.

There were also plenty of spectators out to watch the BMX riders in action, who worked their way along the track showing off an array of tricks.

As well as using the track, support was available for riders to get further information about cycling and assistance with any bike maintenance or repairs.

The Mayor said: ‘It is great to see that the BMX track is already being used by so many people of all ages.

“The track offers so many opportunities for the community; helping to bridge the increasing gap between young and old.”
