POLICE have released images of suspects after two policemen were injured after being sprayed with a fire extinguisher in Solihull.

The incident took place on Chester Road in Castle Bromwich on Monday evening (August 20).

Police were investigating a disturbance at a Morrisons petrol station when the police community support officers (PCSOs) were sprayed while sat in a police car at traffic lights.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Can you help Solihull Police ID these males.




“We would like to speak to them in connection with an incident that occurred on the Chester Road in Castle Bromwich on August 20 at 5.40pm. Two police community support officers were sprayed with a fire extinguisher by two people on a scooter as they sat in a police vehicle at traffic lights.

“If you have any information please call the Solihull Investigation team on 101 ext 8912 3027 and quote ref 20SH/190172F/18.
