THE COUTDOWN to Christmas has begun – and there has been plenty of festive spirit at the market in Mell Square.
From hand-made gifts to delicious sweets, treats and drinks there was plenty on offer at this year’s 60-plus stalls.
Shoppers and visitors could also have a taste of Italy with stone-baked pizzas on offer as well as spiced chicken and sausages.
