LOCKDOWN quizzers in Solihull helped raised £60,000 for The Lily Mae Foundation.

Jeff and Sue Berry at the Pup and Duckling micropub handed over funds from the entry fees of the online quizzes which were held during the first lockdown when pubs were forced to close their doors.

The Lily Mae Foundation, based in Balsall Common, supports parents and families who have lost a baby to Stillbirth, Neonatal Death, Miscarriage or to a Medical Termination.

Ryan Jackson, founder and managing director at the charity said: “Thank you to Julie Carney for nominating us to be the beneficiary of this very creative and successful online fundraising.

“Very best wishes to all those who took part.”
