LOCAL MP and Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi recently officially opened a new microbrewery in Wood End.

The Warwickshire Lad had been selling their own ale for several years, and were approached by their suppliers to build a brewery on site.

Owner Gaynor said: “We have completely changed all our garden area with all new seating and also a new seating area outside the brewery

“I asked our local MP, Nadhim Zahawi , if he was available to open the brewery for us cut the ribbon and he was delighted to do so.

“We invited guests to come along sample the ale and a few nibbles, it was a lovely hot sunny day  we were so pleased with the turn out.

“Anton and myself are in our 13th year of running the pub alongside our son manager Conor, and we have an amazing team of staff and cannot sing their praises high enough.”

Nadhim Zahawi said: “Owners Anton and Gaynor have done tremendous work with their investment in the microbrewery and their new look garden.”
