Libraries extend time slots for returning books

Solihull Editorial 9th Jul, 2020   0

SOLIHULL Library Service has extended the times residents can return books.

The service has organised more time slots for residents to safely drop off their books.

Customers of Balsall Common, Castle Bromwich, Hobbs Moat and Knowle Libraries can drop off books from 10am-1pm on Wednesday July 15.

Books can be returned to The Core, Chelmsley Wood and Shirley Libraries from 2-4pm on Friday July 24, and every Friday afternoon thereafter.

The time slots are just for dropping off books – library staff will not be available to help with any other services.

Solihull Library Service has started issuing books through its new click and collect scheme at The Core. This will be followed by similar schemes at Chelmsley Wood Library and Shirley Library on July 20.

The service is available in 30 minutes slots with users submitting requests for books via an online booking system on the Library Service web pages.

Forms will be available for collections from Chelmsley Wood and Shirley Libraries from Monday July 13. Anyone unable to use the online form can place an order by phoning 0121 704 8001.
