Lee Martin - who sparked a West Midlands wide manhunt - charged with multiple offences

THE MAN who sparked a region-wide manhunt before being arrested in Ladywood on Tuesday has been charged with several offences, including some in Solihull after a woman was stabbed and kidnapped.

Lee Martin of Trinity Road, Aston has been charged with kidnap, threats to kill, wounding with intent, false imprisonment, four counts of robbery, attempted robbery, three counts of assault, aggravated vehicle taking, four counts of possession of a bladed weapon, dangerous driving and two counts of criminal damage.

He has been remanded and was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
