LAND overlooking the end of Birmingham Airport’s runway is set to go under the hammer.
The freehold land located at the rear of 49 to 51 Hazeldene Road in Sheldon will have a guide price of £50,000+ in Bond Wolfe’s 50th auction on May 14.
The land extended to approximately 580 square metres and will be sold on a livestreamed auction at 8.30am on behalf of Birmingham City Council.
Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is an interesting plot of vacant land which may be suitable for a variety of uses, include educational, community or residential, subject to planning permission.
“The site, with access between 49 and 51 Hazeldene Road, is in a predominantly residential area on the edge of Sheldon Country Park, which itself overlooks the end of the runway at Birmingham Airport.”
Mr Bassi added that anyone interested in the land should explore potential uses they might propose with Birmingham City Council’s Planning Department.
The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
