BUDDING film-makers from Knowle Primary Academy took to the red carpet and got a taste of fame when their work was showcased on the big screen at Cineworld.
Around 60 children from year 3 created a short action film as part of their summer term project Hollywood to Bollywood and they have learnt about the history, religion and culture of India and America along the way.
From doing voice-overs and editing to writing scripts and learning their lines, the pupils used their creativity and imagination to make two 20-minute adventure films, which they revealed to their parents at the Touchwood cinema.
After watching Cindy Ann and Bones and The Temple of Boom, Jenny Godsall, Principal at Knowle CE Primary Academy, said: “I am extremely proud of what the pupils have achieved and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to watch the films with them and their parents at Cineworld.
“They have worked extremely hard to write high-quality scripts, act out scenes and use a range of technology to produce from start-to-finish two excellent films.”
