Knowle and Dorridge Lions call to join in Festive safari tour

Sarah Mason 17th Dec, 2020

CHRISTMAS may look a little different this year but it won’t stop the annual Festive Walk in Knowle.

The annual walk, organised by Knowle and Dorridge Lions, has had a safari makeover this year and will be taking place around Knowle village centre.

There will be three Festive Safari routes for all to track down the Festive Lions on the loose around the B93 area from December 19 to January 4.

Each route will pass through a park in Knowle, Dorridge and Bentley Heath.

Adrian Harris, from Knowle and Dorridge Lions, said: “We know 2020 has hit our local primary schools hard and meant their usual fundraising ventures have had to be cancelled and so all proceeds from this event will be split evenly between our four local Primary schools – Knowle, Dorridge, Bentley Heath and St George and St Teresa’s.”

He added the Lions have suggested a £5 donation for each family taking part.
