BUDDING writers from Kingswood School proved they were a cut above the rest when their stories were published.
Pupils from the St James Place school were challenged to write a short story in 100 words or less.
The 11 pupils pictured were all lucky enough to get their stories printed in Toy Stories – The West Midlands and received a complimentary copy of the book as a prize.
Headmaster Rob Luckham said “This is a fine example of the broad success in the literacy part of our curriculum.
“We encouraged all the pupils in the class to enter and were proud of how many had a story published.”
