Kingshurst man charged over girl's death

A KINGSHURST man has been charged following the death of a schoolgirl after a collision in Castle Vale last year.

Nicholas Buck of Kingshurst Way, will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday (March 29).

The 53-year-old is accused of causing death by dangerous driving after 14-year-old Holly Brown died following a collision between a minicoach and a bin lorry on Kingsbury Road at around 1:45pm on Friday 7 July.

Detective Sergeant Alan Hands from the Collision Investigation Unit at West Midlands Police, said: “This was a tragic incident which resulted in the death of a pupil from the John Taylor High School in Barton-under-Needwood. Holly’s family are devastated and specialist officers continue to support them during this extremely difficult time.”
