THERE was triple delight for Johnsons Coaches in Henley at a special industry service award ceremony.

John Johnson, the family-run coach business’s commercial director, received the Special Award for his remarkable service to the industry at the Route One 2023 Coach and Bus awards.

The company also scooped the Highly Commended for Large Coach Operator of the Year (over 40 coaches) and Highly Commended for Coach Tourism Programme of the Year.

The prestigious awards ceremony was held earlier this month at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

John said: “The coach industry is all about people and I’m so proud of all of our staff here at Johnsons, and what we have achieved together over the years.”

The Route One 2023 Coach and Bus Awards ceremony brought together industry leaders, innovators, and top performers, making it a highly anticipated event within the sector.

Kyran Flynn, general manager for Johnsons Coaches, said: “Being awarded High Commended for Large Coach Operator of the Year and Coach Tourism Programme of the Year is a tremendous honour for Johnsons.

“These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. I am especially thrilled for John Johnson, whose well-deserved Special Award recognises his outstanding contributions to the industry over the years.”
