HOLLYTREES Animal House received a donation of pet food and treats in honour of National Pet Month courtesy of Jack’s Supermarket, on Timberley Lane in Castle Bromwich.
The donation was to mark National Pet Month, taking place throughout April.
National Pet Month was launched to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and help owners around the UK to stay up to date with the latest pet-friendly advice.
Hollytrees, in Packhorse Lane, Hollywood, is one of the busiest rescue centres in the area, covering the practical aspects of animal welfare including catching, spaying/neutering, re-homing, rehabilitating and educating.
Laura Cerrone, store manager at Jack’s branch, said: “Everyone at Jack’s loves to give back to the local community and we couldn’t forget about our furry friends.
“Hollytrees Animal House carries out some incredible work and we’re very proud to support them in any way we can.
“Jack’s have everything you need in store to keep your furry friend happy and healthy.”
