Investigation launched after man threatened in Solihull with knife

AN investigation has been launched after a man threatened another with a knife in Solihull High Street over the weekend.

The alleged incident happened at around 3.30pm on Saturday (November 9).

West Midlands Police said: “Police are investigating after a man had his hat snatched from his head as he walked down Solihull High Street just after 3.30pm on Saturday.

“The 24-year-old chased the offender and was then punched by the unknown man as he became surrounded by a group of men.




“A member of the public who intervened sustained a minor cut to his chest after the man produced a knife and pushed it towards him.”
