TRAGIC Zahid Mirza died following an accident – an inquest revealed.
The 40-year-old, from Castle Bromwich, died when his car crashed on the southbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 4A and 5 near Coleshill, Warwickshire, on January 15.
West Midlands Police searched the immediate area at the time of the collision in January there was no trace of the driver.
After worried family members told police they had not heard from Mr Mirza in the three weeks following the accident. a fresh search was launched.
In February Police appealed for information on his whereabouts and following two days of intensive searching by specialist search officers, a body was discovered in an inaccessible area of waste ground next to the motorway on February 5.
Birmingham and Solihull Coroner, Louise Hunt recorded a conclusion as Accident.
