HUNDREDS of cannabis plants have been seized from a suspected drugs den in Shirley.
On Solihull Police’s social media pages it said they acted on intelligence and found the stash of plants at an industrial unit off Stratford Road on March 4.
Around 300 plants were discovered by the Solihull priority crime team, with the support of the Leos neighbourhood team.
Solihull Police said: “Enquiries around who was behind the cannabis factory remain ongoing.
“Drugs ruin lives and every cannabis farm we destroy helps prevent a vicious circle.
“As the plants won’t then end up as street deals, the profits won’t go on to fund other crime, and they won’t ruin lives or pollute our communities.”
