How good causes can get a Helping Hand from borough business

Solihull Editorial 16th Jul, 2022   0

CHARITIES and organisations in the West Midlands are now able to call on a Solihull-based business for volunteering help.

Employees from housebuilder Wain Homes are offering their time as part of the company’s Helping Hands initiative, launched to mark Wain’s 50th anniversary.

Helping Hands will see Wain Homes’ staff volunteer 365 days to help out local charities, community groups or simply support a good cause.

Andy Peters, managing director of Wain Homes’ new West Midlands, said: “Our role as a housebuilder means we care about the communities we build in right from the beginning so what better way to celebrate our 50th anniversary than to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in giving something back to the local area?

“So whether it’s painting a local school, tending to a playground or helping to tidy up a town, we’re ready for the challenge.”
