YOUNG patients at Solihull Hospital are delighted with a recent donation to the children’s unit.
Monkspath retailer Tesco wanted to show its appreciation for the hard work and dedication of all the staff at the hospital.
And to do so its Tesco Community Champions team donated brand new toys which will be given as presents to the children for their bravery during their time in hospital.
A spokesperson for the hospital said: “The hospital charity would like to thank Gillian Smith and her team at Tesco Monkspath for donating brand new toys to the children’s outpatients department at Solihull Hospital.
“The nurses are over the moon with their generous donation, and the children are really enjoying playing with the new toys.”
Gillian Smith added the team looks forward to supporting the local community in future projects.
