A HOME care support company has joined forces with Acorns Children’s Hospice to help children and their families across the region.
Bluebird Care Solihull and Birmingham West wants to raise £5,000 for the hospice it has formed a partnership with.
The partnership was the idea of Ted Richardson, the operations director at the home care provider.
Having personally experienced what impact the hospice has on the lives of children in the community through his previous support of the charity over the years, Ted was keen to rekindle his relationship with Acorns in his role.
Ted said: “At Bluebird Care Solihull and Birmingham West, we recognise the important role local businesses can play in supporting the local community.
“We want to make a difference to people’s lives and Acorns certainly gives us that.
“Without the support of volunteers and fundraisers, Acorns cannot help as many families and children as they would like to.
“It is a fantastic charity to be part of.”
