SILHILLIANS are being called to trot down to Chelmsley Wood for a charity hobby horse derby.
There will be all the fun of the races as crowds gather at Chelmsley Wood Town Council and Onward Club on Helmswood Drive to watch jockeys and raise funds for FastAid on September 21 at 7.30pm.
FastAid works with West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) to train volunteers to become Community First Responders (CFRs) who are despatched to life-threatening 999 emergency calls by WMAS when they are the closest resource, along with an ambulance as soon as one is available.
Tickets cost £3 per adult, £1 for children.
