STUDENTS at Saint Martin’s are celebrating ‘excellent’ A Level results, the Solihull school says.
It recorded 23% achieving A*, 52% A*/A and 90% A*/A/B grades. 95% of girls were successful in securing their ‘firm’ university place.
The school added: “Particular congratulations go to Shona who achieved 4 A* grades and goes on to study Economics and Management at Oxford; Isabel who gained 3 A* grades will read Ancient, Medieval and Modern History at Durham and Innes who with 2 A * grades will read Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge.
Saint Martin’s Head Girl, Isabel achieved 2 A* and an A and will study Chemistry at York.”
Mrs Speirs, Acting Headteacher, said: “We are extremely proud of the commitment and dedication the girls have shown to their studies, especially in this very challenging year. They have been superbly motivated and deserve every success. We all wish them the very best for the future.”
In September, Saint Martin’s will merge with Solihull to create an independent coeducational day school for 3 to 18 years across two sites. Solihull Preparatory School (3 to 11 years) will be located on the Saint Martin’s campus and Solihull (11 to 18 years) on the Warwick Road campus
