A HENLEY In Arden GP will be taking to the skies for charity.

Daredevil, Katie Hutchinson, will be taking a leap of faith next month in aid of Age UK Solihull which supports older people with financial, social and technology issues.

Katie, who practises at Eden Court Medical Practice in Castle Vale, is hoping to raise £450 for the charity which has helped a number of her patients and their families.

The 30-year-old said: “I feel excited about it.

“Love the idea of combining something fun and exciting with a charitable cause.

“I’m also a very big motorsport and Formula 1 fan – the jump will be from Brackley near Silverstone.

“Can’t wait to see the track from the air.”

Age UK Solihull continued to help residents through the pandemic and currently running projects to help with rising energy bills.

The charity runs a Digital Champion Project which teaches people how to use technology and help those who feel isolated.

There are also a number of social groups for over 65s to join to help battle loneliness.
