SILHILLIANS are being asked to have their say on plans to merge two Parish Councils.
Solihull Council has launched the second phase of its consultation on the future governance arrangements in Balsall and Berkswell.
Earlier this year, the Council invited residents to share their views on Balsall and Berkswell Parish Council’s joint request to merge into one.
Following initial feedback, the Council has published three draft proposals for consideration by residents.
They are: option A – merge the two parish councils and create four parish wards, option B – alter the current boundary to the existing railway line (West Coast Main Line) or option C – continue with the existing arrangements.
Solihull Council will host a drop-in session at Berkswell and Balsall Common Tennis Club on January 7 between 4pm and 7pm where representatives will be on hand to answer any questions about the proposals.
To have your say here.
The deadline is 11.59pm on February 1.
