Have your say on new Blythe Valley routes

Solihull Editorial 16th Jul, 2022   0

RESIDENTS are being called on to have their say on new walking and cycling routes to Blythe Valley Park.

Solihull Council say the Active Travel Routes will connect Blythe Valley Park with Monkspath and Dorridge.

Councillor Ken Hawkins, cabinet member for Environment and Highways, said: “As a Council we are constantly looking for more ways to help and support people to leave their cars at home and travel by foot, bike and public transport. It’s good for our health, for our air quality and will help us achieve our net zero carbon targets as a borough.

“It’s also good for your pockets – if you can make some changes in your travel habits you will save money too.

“We want to make sure we get the new active travel routes right so please get involved with the consultation.”

The consultation is open until August 5.
