Hampton in Arden charity Fat Fluffs secure £5,000 funding

A RABBIT rescue centre in Hampton in Arden has been awarded a £5,000 grant.

Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue has been given the much-needed cash from Support Adoption For Pets to help pay for vet bills.

The charity takes all breeds of rabbits and aims to find them loving homes.

But for those which have challenging personalities or long-term health problems, they provide sanctuary to live out the rest of their days surrounded by fellow rabbits.

The centre is run by volunteers who share a passion for seeing unwanted and neglected rabbits find the loving homes they deserve.

Amy Wilson, fundraising manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “It is a real privilege to help an organisation that works so hard to care for and re-home rabbits in need.

“They are doing a superb job, and the effort the rescue puts in is an inspiration.”

Support Adoption For Pets is an independent charity established by Pets at Home in 2006.

Since then it has helped over 1,000 re-homing centres and animal welfare organisations across the UK as well as running dedicated adoption centres in nearly 400 Pets at Home stores.
