Hall Green man hands himself into police after boy stabbed last week

A HALL GREEN man has handed himself into police after a boy was stabbed in the back last week.

Detectives investigating the incident in Tyseley last Wednesday (June 26) have charged a man following a social media appeal for information.

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.

Mohammed Pasha Uddin, from Sarehole Road, Hall Green, handed himself into police yesterday (July 1).




The 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed weapon.

He was charged and remanded to appear before Birmingham magistrates court today (July 2).
