FESTIVE songs are set to fill the Church of the Ascension as Hall Green Choral Society take to the stage.
On Saturday, December 18, the Christmas Concert at the School Road church in Hall Green will be conducted by Clive Jones with Darren Hogg on organ and piano.
From 7.30pm there will be a selection of carols including Silent Night, I Saw Three Ships and The Angel Gabriel, along with more contemporary songs such as Glow from Walt Disney’s World of Color Winter Dreams.
Catherine Mason, soprano soloist, will perform Gustav Holst’s choral fantasy and there will also from music by Andrew Carter, Mozart and Malcolm Archer.
The audience can join in too with several traditional carols including Away In A Manger and Hark The Herald Angels Sing.
