THE MONEY keeps on rolling in for the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull following another successful annual golf event.

Now in its fifth year the Clarke Memorial Golf Day is held in memory of Robert Clarke and his two sons Mickie and Vinnie Clarke who were all cared for by the hospice in their final days.

Organised by son and brother Gerry Clarke, this year’s event saw 40 fundraising golfers taking part in the charity day which was won by Jack Ryan.

“Everyone enjoyed the golf on the day, had a good laugh with family and friends while also managing to raise money for the charity – roll on next year,” said Gerry.

“The golf day was held at Widney Manor for the fourth year running and I would like to thank Tim and his team for making us welcome and for our day sponsor Gary Horsbugh Director of Traffix who kindly donated to the day – thank you.”
